Balch Aba Nefso (Sefo)
He
was one of Emperor Menelik's General who was very instrumental
in the victory at the battle of Adwa in 1896.
He
was a ruler of Sidama region during the Italian invesion
in the 1930'S. Dejazmach Balcha is well known for his
horse-name of "Aba-Nefso."
He
later fought the Italians for the second time at a very
old age and lost his life during exchange of fire.
